About the Role

Zamil Offshore Services is seeking a Construction Manager Fire Protection System Upgrade to lead and manage all construction activities for a critical fire protection system upgrade project. This full-time position is based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Province, focusing on RTSI platforms.

Project Context and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe, timely, and compliant execution of the fire protection system upgrade across RTSI platforms. The project demands strict adherence to Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes, involving significant offshore construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee offshore construction activities, including the installation of firewater pumps, foam systems, monitors, piping, and suppression systems.
• Coordinate the demolition and replacement of existing fire protection infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Manage punch lists, mechanical completion checklists, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and support for Project Record Books and As-Built drawings.
• Support FAT, IFAT, SAT, and PAT testing with Aramco representatives.

Safety and Compliance Oversight

• Ensure compliance with Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and the Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all personnel are certified (HEUT, permit receivers, etc.).
• Ensure work permits are obtained and closed per * ******
• Implement and monitor the Contractor’s Site Safety Program (CSSP).
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to SAES, SAEP, SAMSS, and NFPA standards.

Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement

• Interface with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, and Marine teams.
• Coordinate barge mobilization, offshore logistics, and material handling.
• Liaise with Saudi Aramco PMT, Marine Department, and platform operators.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide progress updates.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably within fire protection systems or offshore projects. The salary for this position will be discussed during the interview process.
