Safety Coach

About the Role

Total Safety EMEA is seeking a Safety Coach for a contract position in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region. This role focuses on ensuring health and safety compliance and fostering a safety-driven culture at the site. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety rules, ensuring compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudi Civil Defense, and other relevant regulations.
• Monitor contractor and employee adherence to established safety standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections, identify hazards, and perform risk assessments.
• Oversee high-risk activities such as confined space entry, hot work, working at height, and heavy equipment & lifting operations.
• Immediately address and stop unsafe acts and conditions.
• Report, investigate, and document accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and conditions.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive incident and safety performance records.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety briefings.
• Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives, ensuring workers are trained and certified for their assigned tasks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
• Maintain records of Permits to Work (PTWs), Risk Assessments (JSA/JHA), inspections, and audits.
• Support internal and client safety audits.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills, ensuring the availability and readiness of firefighting and emergency equipment.
• Assist in evacuation and emergency response coordination.

Performance Indicators

• Achieve zero fatalities and reduce recordable incidents.
• Ensure full compliance with site HSE requirements.
• Maintain high quality in safety inspections and reporting.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives and audits.

Work Conditions

This is a site-based role requiring extensive field presence. The successful candidate must be able to work in harsh site and weather conditions and be willing to work shifts, extended hours, or rotation schedules.
