About the Purchasing Specialist Role

Jorn Roastery is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with foundational experience in procurement looking to contribute to our operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for raw materials and consumables. This role involves identifying and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing, while also maintaining strong supplier relationships and contributing to cost reduction efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing purchase orders for raw materials and consumables.
  • Identifying and negotiating with local and international suppliers to secure optimal prices and quality.
  • Monitoring purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Managing supplier relationships and conducting periodic performance evaluations.
  • Contributing to cost reduction initiatives and ensuring consistent inventory availability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Operational experience in purchasing ranging from 1 to 5 years.
  • Previous experience in the coffee sector or cafes is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Good knowledge of supply chain management and issue resolution.
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in resolving pricing matters.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and work efficiently.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
