About the Role

ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities is seeking an Oracle Database Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience in Oracle database administration.

Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to manage and lead the Oracle database environment, ensuring its availability, performance, security, and continuity. The manager will also be responsible for supporting cloud and hybrid environments and integrating with identity and SSO systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Oracle Databases across On-Premises, Cloud, and Hybrid environments.
• Oversee performance, availability, backup, recovery, and Disaster Recovery operations.
• Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and execute upgrade and patching processes.
• Support and implement Oracle Cloud / OCI solutions, including database migration to the cloud.
• Manage integration with Active Directory / LDAP, SSO, and IAM.
• Implement database security controls, manage permissions, auditing, and encryption.
• Monitor databases, troubleshoot faults and issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Lead DBA teams and service providers, managing service levels and vendors.
• Support technical projects and cloud transformation initiatives, providing technical consultancy related to databases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud/OCI and Cloud Migration.
• Experience in SSO, IAM, and Active Directory/LDAP.
• Experience in High Availability, DR, and Backup & Recovery.
• Experience in Database Security and Performance Tuning.
• Oracle, OCI, and ITIL certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing teams, vendors, and technical projects.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
