Accountant

About the Role

Pico Play is seeking a Full-time Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing daily financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions. The Accountant will also support monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring to ensure accurate and timely financial information is maintained in accordance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and clients.
• Maintain the General Ledger and prepare and post Journal Entries on a timely basis, including the maintenance of financial schedules.
• Assist in checking bank reconciliations and maintaining inter-company account schedules.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with monthly closing procedures.
• Assist with tax computations and returns.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, including AP, AR, and GL functions, and be proficient in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage daily financial operations and collaborate with the team.
