Role Overview

Medicals International is seeking an Accountant to join its finance and administration team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a detail-oriented individual eager to develop their accounting skills within a dynamic work environment. The Accountant will be instrumental in managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for the company.

Core Accounting Duties

The primary responsibilities of this role encompass comprehensive bookkeeping and financial statement preparation tasks:

  • Review and verify all daily transactions, ensuring that supporting documents such as invoices and receipts are attached before data entry.
  • Input all daily financial transactions, including expenses, bank deposits, transfers, purchases, and their respective shipping charges, into the relevant software.
  • Organize and file all accounting documents and related attachments systematically.
  • Review, verify, and correct monthly purchases as needed to maintain accuracy.
  • Post all transactions between different software modules.
  • Reconcile all monetary accounts, including bank accounts, petty cash, and transitory collections.

Reporting and Operational Support

In addition to core accounting functions, the Accountant will contribute to operational efficiency and internal reporting:

  • Prepare and submit a daily report detailing activities and achievements to the supervisor.
  • Provide recommendations regarding the usage of resources and disbursements.
  • Perform any other functions relevant to the overall Medicals International Accounting department as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should demonstrate a strong foundation in accounting practices and relevant professional experience:

  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or similar financial role.
  • Proven attention to detail and a commitment to accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Eagerness to grow and enhance accounting skills within a professional setting.
