About ACOUSTIEG and the Role

ACOUSTIEG is seeking a Full-time Acoustic Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to supporting the design, implementation, and testing of acoustic solutions for commercial and architectural projects. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in architectural and environmental acoustics.

Role Purpose

The Acoustic Engineer will contribute to various projects by ensuring effective acoustic performance. This involves close coordination with project and technical teams to integrate acoustic solutions from conception through to completion, focusing on practical application and technical support within commercial and architectural environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support acoustic insulation and treatment systems for architectural projects.
• Work with common acoustic materials, including mineral wool, MLV, gypsum systems, and acoustic panels.
• Assist in developing acoustic design recommendations and selecting suitable acoustic products.
• Support coordination efforts with architects, consultants, and MEP teams to integrate acoustic solutions effectively.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and project records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in architectural or environmental acoustics.
• Basic knowledge of acoustic standards such as STC, NRC, and RT60.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with acoustic software and measurement tools is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in Fit-Out or commercial projects.
• A portfolio or sample acoustic reports would be a valuable addition.
