About the Role

Honeywell (KSA) is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer (Gas Metering) for a full-time position based in Riyadh. This role is critical for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for complex machinery, equipment, and systems. The Advanced Field Service Engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives in field service processes and product development, leading cross-functional groups to resolve administrative difficulties related to equipment delivery and installation. This position also serves as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services for equipment or systems at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements, address inquiries, and provide training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, equipment status, and updates on customer interactions.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to proactively identify and address potential equipment issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to provide comprehensive customer service.
• Provide feedback and insights to engineering and product development teams for continuous improvement of products or services.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, product knowledge, and relevant technologies to enhance technical skills.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines, during all on-site service activities.

Essential Technical Expertise

Candidates for this role must possess essential experience in the following areas:

• Custody transfer systems
• Tank inventory Management systems
• Gas Flow Metering Systems & Skids
• Flame & Gas Detection Systems
• Field Instrumentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Relevant Diploma certifications may be considered.
• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related technical role.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of complex machinery, equipment, or systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
