About the Agent-Purchasing Role

Four Points is seeking a full-time Agent-Purchasing (Saudi) to join our team in Riyadh. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to manage essential purchasing and inventory operations. The Agent-Purchasing will play a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping, efficient processing of deliveries, particularly for food items, and strict adherence to food safety standards, contributing to overall team goals.

Key Purchasing and Inventory Management

The primary responsibilities of this position involve meticulous management of inventory and associated financial records.

  • Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and related costs accurately.
  • Maintain clear and organized records, ensuring all reports and invoices are properly filed and stored.
  • Post invoices using designated computer programs.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to determine current inventory levels and identify supply needs.
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies as required.
  • Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper stock levels are consistently maintained.
  • Notify managers or supervisors promptly of low stock levels to prevent operational disruptions.

Receiving and Vendor Coordination

This role is crucial for managing the intake of goods and ensuring smooth interactions with vendors regarding deliveries.

  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries efficiently upon arrival.
  • Verify and track all received inventory, completing necessary inventory reports and logs.
  • Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
  • Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee the return process for non-compliant goods.

Operational Compliance and Teamwork

The Agent-Purchasing is expected to uphold high standards of compliance and actively contribute to a supportive team environment.

  • Adhere strictly to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Required Physical Capabilities

This role requires specific physical abilities to perform daily tasks within the operational environment.

  • Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
