The Agent Purchasing Role

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a full-time Agent Purchasing to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing inventory, orders, and costs, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and handling deliveries. The position requires adherence to safety and hygiene standards, along with specific physical capabilities for handling goods.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform calculations for food inventories, orders, and costings.
• Maintain clear and organized records, ensuring all reports and invoices are properly completed and filed.
• Send invoices using computer tools.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory quantities and needs.
• Complete order forms for inventory and supply purposes.
• Notify a manager/supervisor in case of stock depletion.
• Verify and track received inventory, completing inventory slips and reports.
• Reconcile delivery invoices and receiving slips to ensure correct quantities.
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries.
• Refuse damaged, non-compliant, or incorrect items.
• Resolve supplier delivery issues and oversee return procedures.
• Comply with current hygiene rules and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
• Monitor and ensure sufficient levels of food stocks.
• Report accidents, injuries, and all dangerous working conditions to the manager; follow required safety training and obtain certifications.
• Follow and apply all chain safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, accident risks, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional.
• Respect the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Support all colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect; support the team in achieving common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform all other tasks requested by managers that correspond to the position.

Physical Demands

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or a full shift.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery (*, to identify defects).
• Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Reach objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No permits or certifications required.
