Alloy Cloud Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Oracle is seeking an Alloy Cloud Solutions Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role serves as the technical foundation for the Oracle Alloy partner ecosystem, engaging directly with distributor and reseller partners who develop and market their own branded cloud platforms on Alloy. The position involves managing the entire partner lifecycle, from enabling sales and presales teams to driving long-term cloud adoption for partner customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Alloy enablement programs, including technical bootcamps, certifications, and playbooks, for partner sales, presales, and solution architecture teams.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners, supporting their independence in positioning and demonstrating Alloy.
• Conduct joint discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept environments to support partner-led sales.
• Technically qualify opportunities by assessing workload fit, licensing models, regulatory needs, and infrastructure readiness.
• Develop reusable go-to-market assets such as reference architectures, solution briefs, ROI/TCO calculators, and competitive positioning materials.
• Translate qualified opportunities into validated technical solutions that meet customer requirements and platform constraints.
• Produce infrastructure and consumption estimates (compute, storage, network, services) aligned with workload and growth projections.
• Guide partner delivery teams through environment provisioning, configuration, and go-live for new Alloy customers.
• Engage with strategic customers to build leadership relationships and design and implement solutions.
• Develop architectures and translate business needs into technical solutions, potentially implementing solutions through code development and scripting.
• Create and distribute technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
• Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in cloud solutions engineering or a similar technical role.
• Demonstrated product and application understanding through customized presentations and demonstrations.
• Ability to support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment, including resource configuration, planning, and customer education.
• Experience serving as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
• Capability to provide direction and mentoring to other team members.
• Experience interacting with C-level executives.

Success Metrics

• Partner technical enablement coverage and certification rates.
• Technical win rate and deal-cycle velocity on qualified partner opportunities.
• Quality and reuse rate of Go-to-Market (GTM) assets across the partner network.
• On-time, on-spec customer onboarding and post-go-live adoption/health scores.
• Expansion revenue sourced from existing onboarded accounts.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves complex, non-routine work requiring advanced technical and business skills in the area of specialization. Maintaining expertise by staying current on emerging technologies is essential.
