About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking an Ambulatory Care Representative I for a full-time position. This role is crucial for ensuring that patient access, acceptance, registration, eligibility, and financial status align with hospital policies and are processed efficiently through coordination with healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and greet patients, employees, or visitors upon their arrival in the clinic, providing information and directions.
• Obtain necessary information, determine concerns, and direct callers to appropriate areas.
• Open medical records for new patients.
• Review and respond to correspondence regarding eligibility for treatment.
• Interview and assist patients/families before submitting medical referral paperwork, explaining KFSH&RC eligibility policy.
• Perform all appointment services and admission functions.
• Register and initiate required actions on financial letters from various sources, including Royal Families, Royal Cabinet, companies, General Medical Committees, and embassies.
• Register and confirm patient visits using the computer system, taking necessary actions for patient check-in.
• Receive walk-in patients and take necessary actions.
• Retrieve patient information from the system as needed.
• Verify patient eligibility status, ensuring eligibility for the referred specialty.
• Coordinate with other hospital staff when booking appointments to ensure proximity of appointments such as X-ray or Endoscopy.
• Participate in the orientation of new employees as required.
• Adhere to all hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Participate in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
