Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co., also known as Shaker Group, is seeking a dedicated AMC Technician to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the optimal functionality and efficiency of various Air Conditioning products through expert maintenance and repair services for customers.

Role Overview

The AMC Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and reactive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and carrying out necessary repairs on AC units during customer visits. This position requires adherence to service instructions received from customer service, applications, or supervisors, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service maintenance jobs to ensure AC longevity, based on instructions from Customer Service, direct customers, or supervisors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
• Repair or replace defective parts or components as needed to restore functionality.
• Document all maintenance and activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.
• Report additional problems identified during inspection to supervisors immediately for further advice.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the field and product.
• Adhere strictly to prescribed safety practices, regulations, and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
• Provide training and guidance to assistant technicians or new hires as required.
• Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
• Test-run the unit to ensure satisfactory completion of the service job.
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Verify that necessary tools, consumables, and spares are available in the service vehicle.
• Coordinate with the respective assistant technician and ensure the “Vehicles Preventive Maintenance Checklist” is properly implemented.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and performance to drive satisfaction and long-term success.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting high standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and a positive organizational culture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical, AC & Refrigeration Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical Diploma or Certification from a recognized institution.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a technician or in a similar role, preferably within the relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
