About the Role

Imploy Egypt is recruiting on behalf of a confidential multi-brand Saudi F&B group for an Area Operations Manager. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The client operates multiple brands across Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), casual dining, and coffee formats, with a significant store opening pipeline planned over the next three years.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Area Operations Manager will oversee a cluster of 12 to 20 outlets within the Central Region, which is one of the group's largest. This role is responsible for the sales, profitability, guest experience, and people management across the assigned cluster. The primary objective is to ensure a consistent operating standard across all outlets while effectively managing the P&L. The Area Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Operations Director.

Commercial Responsibilities

• Own the cluster P&L, driving top-line growth while protecting prime cost and outlet EBITDA.
• Analyze daily and weekly performance metrics, including sales per outlet, average ticket, transaction count, and channel mix, taking action on identified outliers.
• Control food cost and waste through rigorous inventory discipline, adherence to recipes, and supplier compliance.
• Optimize labor scheduling based on forecast demand and manage overtime and absenteeism effectively.

Operations and Standards Responsibilities

• Conduct structured outlet visits and audit brand standards, cleanliness, service speed, food quality, and safety protocols.
• Guarantee food safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring every outlet is inspection-ready at all times.
• Monitor delivery aggregator performance and ratings, and protect the unit economics of the delivery channel.
• Lead new outlet openings within the cluster, from site handover through to steady-state trading.

People Management Responsibilities

• Coach restaurant managers on daily execution and hold them accountable for their performance metrics.
• Manage frontline talent, including recruitment, onboarding, training completion, succession planning, and achieving Saudization targets.

Experience and Compensation

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations management within the F&B sector. This full-time position offers a compensation structure that includes a quarterly bonus tied directly to P&L performance.
