About the Role

Saudi Entertainment Ventures | SEVEN is seeking an Assistant Manager Accounts Payable to join its Accounting & Operations function. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is central to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payment runs.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to verify the accuracy, proper coding, and necessary approvals of all invoices before settlement. The Assistant Manager Accounts Payable will provide essential support to the Manager in maintaining precise and controlled payables records, contributing to the financial integrity of SEVEN's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment runs to ensure accurate and timely settlement of SEVEN's financial obligations.
• Verify invoice accuracy, match against purchase orders, and confirm approval authority before payment release to prevent unauthorized settlements.
• Maintain vendor master records and payables ledgers to ensure complete and reliable supplier data.
• Prepare payables reconciliations and accrual schedules to support accurate period-end financial reporting.
• Track invoice ageing and pending approvals to prevent late payments and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Examine exception reports and duplicate-payment alerts to identify and correct processing errors.
• Support audit requests and respond to payables queries to enable timely resolution and ensure audit readiness.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must demonstrate a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial controls.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting function.
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions with precision and attention to detail.
• Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
