Role Overview

Qiddiya is seeking an Assistant Manager - Asset Infrastructure Design to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering enterprise IT infrastructure solutions that support business objectives. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Core Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will lead technical coordination with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered securely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational standards. This role also drives continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to infrastructure strategy and operational excellence.

Key Duties

• Lead and govern vendor implementation activities, ensuring compliance with project scope, quality standards, timelines, security policies, and organizational governance requirements.
• Review and validate infrastructure designs, provide technical guidance, resolve installation and design challenges, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
• Research emerging technologies, evaluate industry best practices, recommend infrastructure enhancements, and contribute to the organization's IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
• Act as the Technical Project Manager for assigned infrastructure initiatives, coordinating between internal stakeholders, business units, consultants, vendors, and asset contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure assets, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and future business readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, architects, and business owners to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and manage technical expectations.
• Identify technical risks, ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements, and implement mitigation plans throughout project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design standards, implementation plans, project reports, and governance updates while ensuring proper change management and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions are fully tested, documented, and operationally ready before production handover, supporting smooth transition to operations and support teams.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
