Job Description
About the Role
Nestlé is seeking an Assistant Manager Medical Representation to serve as a Medical Delegate for Infant & Follow-on Nutrition. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves building and maintaining relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) while ensuring ethical and compliant recommendations.
Role Purpose
The Medical Delegate acts as the primary representative for Infant & Follow-on Nutrition with Healthcare Professionals in Riyadh. The role focuses on establishing trusted, science-based relationships with paediatricians, nutritionists, and clinic/hospital staff. Key objectives include driving ethical recommendations from HCPs and executing territory call plans to achieve share growth and coverage frequency targets, particularly when breastfeeding is not practiced. All activities must strictly adhere to the WHO Code and Nestlé's marketing policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the agreed HCP call cycle and segmentation plan within the assigned Riyadh territory, meeting call-rate and frequency targets.
- Provide accurate and compliant scientific detailing on nutritional science and product ranges to paediatricians and healthcare staff.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key HCPs and clinic/hospital gatekeepers.
- Identify and develop new HCP relationships and untapped accounts to expand the presence of Nestlé's solutions in the territory.
- Ensure follow-up on all HCP interactions, including scientific requests and questions, within agreed timelines.
- Accurately and timely log all calls, HCP data, and market intelligence into the CRM system.
- Monitor competitor activity, HCP sentiment, and local market dynamics, escalating insights to the Medical Field Manager (MFM).
- Support and represent Nestlé products at approved scientific meetings, hospital events, and nurses'/HCP education activities.
- Strictly comply with the WHO Code, Nestlé policy, and all local regulatory requirements in every HCP interaction.
- Manage territory journey planning in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in joint field visits with the MFM and implement coaching feedback to enhance call quality.
Experience Required
- Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring regular field visits to healthcare professionals and institutions within the assigned territory.
