Assistant Manager Procurement Analytics & Reporting

About the Role

Team Saudi is seeking an Assistant Manager Procurement Analytics & Reporting to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the Procurement Planning & Reporting function by developing, maintaining, and enhancing procurement analytics, dashboards, and reports. The position ensures transparency, performance oversight, and informed decision-making across SOPC and federations.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Manager Procurement Analytics & Reporting is responsible for translating procurement data into structured insights covering demand, spend, performance, compliance, and value delivery. This includes maintaining data integrity, consistency, and alignment with governance and reporting standards to support strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools for planning, spend, demand, performance, and compliance indicators.
• Translate procurement data into clear, structured, and actionable insights for management and executive audiences, ensuring alignment with approved KPIs, SLAs, and reporting frameworks.
• Prepare periodic procurement performance reports, tracking progress against plans, targets, and approved KPIs, and highlighting value delivery including savings and cost avoidance.
• Support the preparation of executive-level reports for senior management, detailing key trends, risks, achievements, and required interventions.
• Maintain procurement datasets and reporting repositories, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and validating data sources and calculations.
• Coordinate with procurement operations, category planning, and finance teams to reconcile data and resolve discrepancies, documenting reporting methodologies and data governance rules.
• Support monitoring and reporting of procurement compliance indicators, audit findings, and risk metrics, ensuring alignment with governance requirements.
• Respond to analytics and reporting requests from procurement leadership and stakeholders, providing analytical support for ad-hoc reviews and presentations.
• Support the utilization and enhancement of procurement reporting capabilities within ERP/SAP and BI tools, coordinating with IT and data teams for system issues and enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement analytics and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex dashboards and reporting tools.
• Experience with data management, integrity, and governance in a procurement context.
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP/SAP and BI tools for reporting.
