Role Overview

Zutari is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Infrastructure) to support the Project Manager in coordinating and executing infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is reserved for Saudi nationals, aligning with the company's vision of investing in local talent and meeting Saudization requirements. The role involves working alongside experienced Senior Project Managers to ensure effective project planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, and quality assurance, ensuring projects meet Zutari’s standards and client expectations. The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining project momentum, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and Zutari’s standards.
  • Coordinate with various project teams (engineering, procurement, and site teams) to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the Project Manager in liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation for stakeholders, facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and following up with relevant parties.
  • Monitor project risks and potential issues, escalating as necessary, and assist in implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Support in tracking project deviations and providing solutions for realignment.
  • Assist with financial management tasks, such as tracking expenses against the budget, monitoring project expenditures, processing invoices, and helping with project financial reporting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Support in coordinating internal and external audits as required, ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project documents, reports, and logs.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports and presentations for internal and client reviews.
  • Track project KPIs, progress, and timelines, ensuring accurate records for project close-out.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within infrastructure.
  • This position is reserved for Saudi nationals.
