Role Overview: Associate Creative Director (Art) eGaming

Leo Burnett is seeking an Associate Creative Director (Art) eGaming to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on the visual design and art direction of advertising campaigns. The role involves developing creative concepts, ensuring visual design aligns with strategic direction, and effectively communicating messages to target audiences. As a managerial role, it includes mentoring team members, particularly art directors and designers, and overseeing the production of visual elements to maintain high standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead creative work, including assigning teams and inspiring them to produce exceptional concepts and final deliverables.
  • Develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insights and creative inspiration.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other agency disciplines to build cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Oversee the visual design and art direction of advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall creative strategy.
  • Mentor and train team members, including art directors and designers, providing professional development and allocating work.
  • Manage the workload for assigned accounts to maximize productivity and quality of creative output.
  • Conceive and create experience design solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Ideate, write, and execute original creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives, or goals.
  • Present and review creative work with Executive Creative Directors, Account Management, Planning Leads, and the Management Team.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, utilizing both in-house resources and third-party vendors.
  • Assist the Creative Director in improving the Creative group’s technical and creative performance, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in creative direction or art direction, with a focus on visual design.
  • Demonstrated understanding of client marketing challenges and responsiveness to strategic needs in proposing creative solutions.
  • Experience in developing and evaluating creative concepts, copy, and art, providing direction prior to account management review.
  • Proficiency in designing comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts, and final deliverables.
  • Proven capability to brainstorm and develop campaigns while managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise and experience within the outdoor industry.
