Job Description
Associate Product Manager, Hepatology
GSK is seeking an Associate Product Manager, Hepatology to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive, high-quality marketing strategies and activities for the hepatology portfolio. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute strategic initiatives that support brand objectives, enhance customer experience, and drive sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-develop and execute the marketing strategy and key marketing activities for the hepatology portfolio in line with local procedures and GSK policies.
- Lead the operational plan, including educational programs, support for relevant scientific congresses, and collaboration with appropriate healthcare societies to build advocacy and reputation.
- Drive performance by identifying business opportunities, supporting long-range forecasting, and leveraging market insights.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (*, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Compliance) to ensure aligned planning and execution.
- Develop marketing communication plans and secure required approvals for promotional and educational materials in accordance with applicable codes, policies, procedures, and local standard operating procedures.
- Orchestrate activities at the customer level to support end-to-end brand management and a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Partner with the sales team to support training on brand messages and promotional materials.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives that support portfolio and brand goals.
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders to support an excellent and compliant customer experience.
- Spend a significant proportion of time in the field (typically over 50%) to engage with customers, support the sales team, and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and the competitive environment.
Compliance and Governance
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of GSK’s codes, policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements; ensure all activities comply with these standards.
- Implement appropriate governance processes and partner with relevant stakeholders to manage issues and determine approved courses of action.
- Develop collaborative relationships based on trust, openness, honesty, and transparency, consistently demonstrating GSK values and integrity.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A valid SCFHS license as a certified pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated track record of strong, consistent performance in previous roles.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, or broader specialty care.
- Current or previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
- Experience contributing to or leading new product launch activities.
Work Environment and Travel
This role requires a significant proportion of time in the field, typically over 50%, to engage with customers, support the sales team, and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and the competitive environment. The ability and willingness to travel as required are essential for this position.
