Role Overview: Barista (Saudi National)

Calo Inc. is seeking a Barista to join the Calo Cafe team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working alongside the Cafe Manager to support daily operations and maintain company standards. The Barista will utilize their coffee knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to established coffee recipes during preparation.
• Ensure brewing equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
• Attend to customer orders and preferences effectively.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with customers, reflecting Calo's culture and values.
• Ensure timely cafe operations that meet quality standards.
• Address and resolve any operational issues resourcefully.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Must currently reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a Barista in cafes.
• Possession of a certified Barista certificate.
• Proficient communication skills in English.

Knowledge and Competencies

• Adequate knowledge of coffee and various coffee mixtures.
• Ability to differentiate coffee aromas and tastes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with professional coffee machines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of useful computer programs and ability to learn new ones.
• Ability to communicate effectively, particularly in written form.
