Bartender (Saudi Only)

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Bartender (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of service and maintaining the bar area. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using measuring systems.
• Prepare and serve various coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, according to standard recipes.
• Operate, calibrate, and clean commercial espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing techniques to assist guests with recommendations.
• Issue, open, and serve bottled beverages.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar setup area and wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place them in the designated area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, and complete closing duties.

Operational Compliance and Guest Service

• Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform all duties as requested by the supervisor.
