Bartender (Saudi Only)

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Bartender (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining bar operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, according to standard recipes.
• Operate, calibrate, and clean commercial espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing techniques to assist guests with recommendations.
• Issue, open, and serve bottled beverages.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar setup area and wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place them in the designated area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for bar supplies.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure receipts and the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, and complete all closing duties.

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience. This role is open to Saudi nationals only.
