The Role of BIM Coordinator

KEO International Consultants is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves advanced BIM modeling and coordination tasks, contributing to large-scale projects. The role requires a professional who can effectively coordinate with various teams, including engineers, designers, and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Autodesk Revit modeling for Architectural, Structural, and/or MEP disciplines.
  • Create, update, and maintain BIM models in accordance with project standards.
  • Prepare shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, elevations, and schedules.
  • Develop and modify Revit families, including parameter management.
  • Conduct model checking for naming conventions, coordinates, parameters, and data accuracy.
  • Support clash detection and resolution of coordination issues.
  • Extract quantities, schedules, and model-based information.
  • Update as-built BIM models and prepare record models.
  • Coordinate effectively with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, Designers, and Site Teams.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks for model review and coordination support.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
  • Understanding of LOD / LOI requirements and BIM modeling standards.
  • Knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 BIM information management principles.
  • Knowledge of linked models, worksets, shared coordinates, and model federation.
  • Experience on large-scale building, hospitality, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects in KSA / Middle East.
  • Familiarity with Dynamo and other BIM automation tools is considered an advantage.
