About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a BIM Specialist Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on contributing to high-end luxury building projects, leveraging advanced BIM capabilities to ensure design integrity, coordination, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed 3D architectural and structural models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools, adhering to luxury design standards.
  • Facilitate coordination between multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, structure, MEP, civil, and interior design, to ensure harmonized building elements.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between various building systems to maintain high-quality outcomes and avoid construction delays.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation and deliverables directly from the BIM model, ensuring compliance with project standards and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce BIM quality control procedures and industry standards to ensure model accuracy and integrity.

BIM Model Management and Coordination

  • Create, manage, and update detailed 3D building models (architectural and structural), integrating high-end materials, finishes, and bespoke elements.
  • Collaborate with other BIM specialists (MEP, Civil) to ensure a fully coordinated building model that addresses luxury project specifications.
  • Attend regular coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to review design progress and resolve model conflicts.
  • Ensure the building model aligns with client aesthetic goals and complies with luxury design expectations.
  • Proactively address design issues and provide BIM-based solutions.

Documentation, Quality, and Risk Management

  • Generate detailed architectural and structural drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with project luxury standards, local regulations, and international building codes.
  • Prepare construction documents, shop drawings, and schedules, integrating unique demands of luxury projects.
  • Implement BIM quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of models.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with BIM execution plans and industry standards (*, ISO 19650).
  • Identify potential design risks or constructability issues early in the project lifecycle, particularly for luxury-specific design features.
  • Work with the project management team to mitigate risks through model adjustments and informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in BIM management, with at least 8 years working on high-end luxury building projects in the construction industry.
  • Experience in PMC environments, specifically on large-scale luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Certification in BIM management or Autodesk Revit (*, Autodesk Certified Professional).

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and high-end finishes relevant to luxury construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in clash detection, model coordination, and producing detailed architectural and structural drawings.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for luxury design aesthetics and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver precise, high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and integration of green technologies, tools, and workflows.
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest BIM technologies and incorporating new innovations relevant to luxury building projects.
