About the Role

TAWANTECH is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst - Retail Banking to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting business transformation initiatives within the retail banking sector. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver innovative retail banking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Retail Banking products, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions while supporting system implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Retail Banking stakeholders.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with business users to understand business needs.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Stories, and Process Flows.
• Analyze existing business processes, recommend improvements, and perform Gap Analysis between requirements and systems.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers.
• Support solution design discussions and clarify functional requirements for development teams.
• Participate in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist during production deployment and provide post-go-live support.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and ensure business expectations are reflected.
• Support project meetings and requirement review sessions.

Retail Banking Domain Expertise

The role requires supporting business initiatives related to a range of Retail Banking products and services, including:

• Current & Savings Accounts
• Customer Onboarding
• Digital Banking, Mobile Banking, and Internet Banking
• Debit & Credit Cards
• Personal Loans and Consumer Finance
• Payments & Transfers
• Customer Information Management (CIF)

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of Business Analysis experience, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
• Demonstrated experience in Retail Banking projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in one or more of the following banking areas: Retail Banking, Digital Banking, Cards, Customer Onboarding, Payments, Personal Loans, Deposits, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking.

Technical Skills and Preferred Certifications

• Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies, including BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Mapping, BPMN / UML.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio.
• Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and Postman is preferred.
• Experience with one or more Core Banking platforms, including Temenos Transact (T24), Finastra, Oracle Banking, Finacle, or other Digital Banking Platforms.
• Preferred certifications include CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum Fundamentals.
