Role Overview: Business Development Assistant (Tamheer)

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Business Development Assistant for a Tamheer internship opportunity at its Riyadh office. This role is designed for graduates in Business Administration or Engineering disciplines, offering a structured training program within Optima. The internship provides an opportunity to develop skills, gain industry experience, and contribute to projects within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Business Development function, its objectives, and its role within the organization.
• Build knowledge of the company’s business, products/services, target customers, and relevant market segments through research and structured learning.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities and present key findings.
• Research potential customers and identify relevant prospects based on agreed criteria.
• Support lead qualification by evaluating and prioritizing prospects under guidance.
• Learn and support the key stages of the Business Development process, from opportunity identification to follow-up and relationship development.
• Develop professional communication skills through drafting emails, preparing meeting points, and participating in role-play exercises.
• Practice client engagement techniques, including understanding customer needs, communicating value propositions, and building professional relationships.
• Support the preparation and review of presentations, company profiles, research summaries, and other Business Development materials.
• Maintain organized records of research, follow-up actions, and potential business opportunities.
• Prepare and present research findings, market insights, and Business Development exercises while incorporating feedback.
• Participate in regular mentoring and performance review sessions to assess progress, identify development areas, and establish next steps.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Applicants must be graduates or have been unemployed for more than 6 months.
• Must currently reside in Riyadh and be available to work in Riyadh for the duration of the program (4 months).
• Strong communication skills in English are required.
• Experience required: 0-1 years.

Work Environment and Program Details
