About the Business Development Manager Role

Aggreko, a global leader in energy solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager specializing in Data Centers. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is crucial for driving future revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities and managing high-value deals. The role involves building relationships with key decision-makers, developing market entry strategies, and creating qualified opportunities for the sales team, while also handling complex proposals and establishing Aggreko's presence in new sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new market opportunities and customer segments within the data center industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the regional and KSA specific Data Center sector.
  • Develop and implement market entry strategies for new sectors or territories.
  • Create and present compelling business cases and proposals to potential clients.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and facilitate their handover to the appropriate sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and gather market intelligence.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development or strategic sales, with a consistent record of achieving targets.
  • Existing experience within the Data Center industry and strategic supply is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new markets or building new business relationships.
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and developing proposals.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop persuasive business cases.
  • Proficiency in building relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
  • A background in account management, consulting, or client-focused solution development is advantageous.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder organizations.
