The Role of Senior Marketing Manager (Poultry)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager (Poultry) to join its Protein Business Unit in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to leading the strategic direction and growth of the Poultry category. The position involves shaping long-term brand strategy, enhancing market positioning, and driving category performance within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a structured Strategic Brand Framework to guide all brand decisions for the Poultry category.
  • Oversee the creation of 5-year strategic plans and annual operating plans.
  • Utilize consumer-driven insights to support innovation, communication, and commercial execution initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business alignment and end-to-end delivery.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, focusing on capability growth, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in branded FMCG, with a preference for experience within the Poultry or wider Protein industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial results, supported by strong financial and strategic acumen.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
  • Strong capability in strategic brand planning, annual operating plans, and consumer insight analysis.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, organized, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and leadership attributes.
