CBS Engineer

Job Summary

MASQ World is seeking a CBS Engineer to manage Central Battery Systems and emergency lighting packages for large-scale projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from initial estimation and design through installation, testing, and commissioning.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare CBS estimations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost breakdowns for tenders and variations.
• Perform battery sizing and autonomy calculations, voltage drop and cable sizing calculations, and circuit/load distribution for CBS and sub-stations.
• Prepare and review CBS shop drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, riser diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
• Develop technical and material submittals and address consultant comments until approval is secured.
• Coordinate with BIM engineers for model integration and clash resolution, and with Project Managers regarding progress, procurement, and site requirements.
• Supervise on-site installation and wiring of CBS panels, sub-stations, luminaires, and monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot system faults and lead testing & commissioning activities, including duration tests, functional tests, and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with main MEP contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Prepare as-built drawings, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and provide training for client operations teams.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in Central Battery Systems and emergency lighting projects.
