The Role of Chief Operating Officer

Foreground is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee group-wide operations. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves translating strategic objectives into executable plans across all business units. The COO will drive performance management frameworks, operational KPIs, and process standardization to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee group-wide operations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for all business units.
• Implement and manage performance management frameworks and operational KPIs.
• Drive process standardization to improve efficiency and accountability across the group.
• Collaborate with subsidiary CEOs and functional leaders to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Scale best practices throughout the organization.
• Support transformation initiatives, cost optimization, and operational readiness for growth.
• Act as the execution arm of the group's leadership, reporting directly to the Group CEO and Board.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as a COO or senior operations leader within diversified groups or complex operating environments.
• Strong exposure to multi-business operations, change management, and performance transformation.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership and decisiveness.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
• Background in structured, KPI-driven organizations.
