Chief Technology Officer

About the Role

Trivers is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the company's enterprise technology and digitization agenda. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is pivotal in achieving strategic goals, digital transformation aspirations, and long-term growth. The role involves envisioning, developing, and governing enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecture, core systems, digital platforms, data capabilities, automation agenda, and the technology operating model to ensure effective, secure, and productive support for business operations and future scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the implementation of the company’s approved strategy and achieve all strategic goals related to technology, digitization, automation, data enablement, and enterprise scalability.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Executive Committee, Strategy, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Business sectors to translate strategic and tactical priorities into enterprise technology outcomes, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Report regularly to the CEO and Board-level forums on technology and digitization performance against approved strategic goals, business plans, transformation priorities, and critical dependencies.
• Ensure technology strategy supports company transformation priorities around digital transformation, clear accountability, efficiency, agility, innovation, and scalable growth.
• Govern end-to-end technology operations, ensuring all enterprise systems, infrastructure, business applications, integrations, and support services effectively support day-to-day business operations.
• Oversee service continuity, infrastructure performance, systems administration, network operations, platform resilience, release management, application support, and enterprise availability standards.
• Design and execute the enterprise digitization roadmap to improve productivity, customer experience, speed, control effectiveness, and scalability.
• Build and govern centralized enterprise data architecture that enables reliable, timely, and decision-grade information across the organization.
• Assume executive accountability for productive and disciplined utilization of all technology assets, subscriptions, applications, infrastructure resources, and digital investments.
• Oversee proactive and effective management of disaster recovery capabilities, backup disciplines, infrastructure resilience, failover readiness, and operational continuity of critical technology services.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable SAMA regulations, regulatory guidance, internal governance requirements, and company policies related to enterprise technology.
• Build and maintain high-level internal and external relations with key stakeholders including the CEO, Board committees, regulators, consultants, technology partners, and strategic vendors.

IT Strategy and Governance

The CTO will envision, develop, and govern a 3–5 year technology and digitization roadmap aligned with the company's corporate strategy, operating model, growth ambitions, and transformation priorities. This includes converting strategic and tactical business plans into enterprise technology capabilities, spearheading the digital transformation journey, and designing the enterprise technology architecture and target-state operating model. The role also involves establishing API-driven, modular, and scalable architecture principles, leading the modernization of core financing systems, and overseeing the integration of critical enterprise platforms and systems.

Digital Transformation and Data Management

This position is responsible for designing and executing the company's enterprise digitization roadmap to enhance productivity, customer experience, and scalability. Key activities include automating onboarding, underwriting workflows, documentation management, and collections processes. The CTO will also lead the deployment of workflow orchestration tools, RPA solutions, and straight-through processing opportunities. Furthermore, the role involves building and governing a centralized enterprise data architecture to enable reliable, timely, and decision-grade information, supporting real-time portfolio monitoring, executive dashboards, and operational reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant technology leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to envision, develop, and govern enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, automation, and data enablement.
• Experience in modernizing core financing systems and integrating critical enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of SAMA regulations and internal governance requirements related to technology operations.
• Proven leadership skills to guide IT & Digitization teams and align them with company vision and goals.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Chief Technology Officer will report directly to the CEO, operating within an approved future structure where IT & Digitization functions as a standalone department. The role requires close collaboration with various internal stakeholders and maintaining high-level external relations with regulators, technology partners, vendors, consultants, and strategic stakeholders.
