Chief Technology Officer

About the Role

National Security Services is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a comprehensive digital transformation. This full-time role involves spearheading the modernization of a long-established security services provider, transitioning from manual processes to a data-driven enterprise. The CTO will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for integrating advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and develop new service offerings.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary objective of this position is to drive a full-scale digital revolution within the organization. This includes streamlining internal operations, reducing manual workloads, and leveraging emerging technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation. The CTO will integrate data, AI, sensors, drones, cameras, and other IoT devices into the service portfolio to reimagine modern security solutions and create new revenue streams, ultimately delivering faster, better, and more cost-effective services to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Transformation & Automation: Develop and execute strategies to automate manual processes, expand Oracle ERP integration, and implement robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance customer experience and reduce operational overhead.
• AI & Data-Driven Strategy: Formulate and execute an AI strategy utilizing machine learning, predictive analytics, and data modeling for efficiency, decision-making, and risk management, identifying use cases with immediate business impact.
• Innovative Security Solutions & Product Development: Reinvent service offerings by integrating IoT devices, developing new digital products like remote monitoring platforms, and building strategic partnerships for cutting-edge security innovations.
• Scalable, Agile Technology Leadership: Cultivate a high-performance technology organization by recruiting and mentoring talent, embedding an agile mindset, and ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and operational units.
• Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency: Drive operational cost savings through technology application, optimizing resource allocation, and measuring ROI for technology initiatives.
• Governance, Security & Compliance: Oversee the integrity of IT infrastructure, data, and networks, maintaining robust cybersecurity measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Executive & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with the CEO and executive team to align technology initiatives with corporate objectives, serving as a technology evangelist and communicating complex concepts clearly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
• Proven Leadership: Over 10 years of experience in senior technology roles, including CTO or VP-level positions, with a strong track record in AI-driven automation.
• Digital Transformation Expertise: Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale automation and ERP (Oracle preferred), reducing manual processes, and enhancing customer experience.
• Product Development: Experience in conceptualizing and launching technology-enabled products, ideally within a security-focused or regulated environment.
• AI & Data Analytics: Deep knowledge of AI/ML ecosystems, data science methodologies, analytics platforms, and modern data architecture.
• Business Acumen: Ability to link technology investments to financial ROI, headcount reduction, and improved customer-facing metrics.
• Security & Compliance: Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols, data protection laws, and relevant industry compliance frameworks.
• Agile Champion: Proficiency in agile and DevOps principles, with a history of building cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.
