Cisco Engineer

About the Role

Acuative Middle East is seeking an experienced Cisco Engineer to lead enterprise network transformation projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves planning, designing, and implementing solutions across various Cisco technologies, with a focus on Software-Defined Access (SDA), Cisco SD-WAN, Wireless (WiFi), and Routing & Switching. The successful candidate will independently manage customer engagements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Plan, Design, and Implementation (PDI) activities for enterprise networking projects.
• Design and deploy Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Routing & Switching solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, and technical assessments to define business and technical requirements.
• Develop high-level and low-level design documentation, implementation plans, migration strategies, and test plans.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, migration, and optimization of Cisco enterprise networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues during deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders, project managers, architects, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to Cisco best practices, security standards, and operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution and mentor junior engineers when required.
• Support customer acceptance testing and transition to operations teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA), Cisco SD-WAN, Wireless (WiFi), and Routing & Switching technologies.
• Proven ability to lead customer engagements and technical discussions.
• Experience in designing scalable architectures and delivering high-quality implementations.
