About the Role

alfanar is seeking a qualified CIVIL ENGINEER, QA / QC to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within civil engineering projects. The role focuses on ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer, QA / QC will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality processes throughout project execution. This includes:

• Ensuring adherence to all dimensions and embedments as per project drawings.
• Communicating with designers to resolve any conflicts or ambiguities in project documentation.
• Following issued Requests for Information (RFIs) and providing timely comments.
• Monitoring the rectification of all raised comments.
• Representing the department in joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Verifying that only approved materials are utilized in project execution.
• Clarifying project arrangements that require specific execution.
• Raising any encountered quality concerns to prevent recurrence.
• Supporting the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Assisting with inspections and audits.
• Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in quality processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
• Reporting any non-conformities and observations, including the required Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Following up on required corrective actions for implementation.
• Enhancing processes to improve efficiency.
• Conducting RCA for all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Monitoring the implementation of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Compliance.
• Understanding of Quality Metrics.
• Familiarity with Quality Tools and Techniques.
