The Role: Civil Inspector

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Civil Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves monitoring and ensuring the quality and compliance of civil works on site, reporting to stakeholders, and maintaining site records. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by contractors and take timely action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual/QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintain daily activity records on site, including progress photos, ensuring they are available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required.
• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related issues on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant civil inspection role.
• Demonstrated ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in monitoring site quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate site records and preparing reports.
