The Role: Cloud FinOps Engineer

Nextwo Co. is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to designing, automating, and scaling the cloud platforms that support engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and scalability. This position requires 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, with a strong emphasis on automation and end-to-end ownership of infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and reliable software delivery.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Monitor platform health and performance, proactively resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Design and maintain cloud networking architecture, ensuring adherence to security and scalability best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployment and infrastructure requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and practices to enhance platform reliability and developer velocity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong working knowledge of core services across AWS, Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
• Proven track record of building or maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
