The Role of COD SPL/Cashier

This is a full-time, on-site role for a COD SPL/Cashier based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position involves accurately receiving, recording, and reconciling cash-on-delivery (COD) payments from customers and delivery personnel. The COD SPL/Cashier will manage daily cash collection, verify transaction records against system data, and prepare cash summaries and reports for finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining secure cash handling procedures.
• Resolving payment discrepancies.
• Supporting drivers with COD-related queries.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Coordinating with customer service for payment issues.
• Preparing documentation for audits.
• Contributing to process improvements in COD operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Experience with COD transactions and basic accounting or bookkeeping.
• Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and ability to work with financial records and reporting tools.
• Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate professionally with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Time Management: Organizational skills to handle high volumes of transactions and meet daily cut-off times.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office software (*, Excel, spreadsheets, ERP or finance systems) and comfort with learning new tools.
• Prior Experience: Experience in logistics, courier services, retail cashiers, or finance operations is an advantage.
• Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Language Skills: Basic English language skills are required; Arabic language skills are an asset.
