About the Consultant Role at Elm Company

Elm Company is seeking a Consultant to join its Innovation Enablement Unit, which is part of the Innovation Department within the Corporate Planning & Enablement Group. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

Purpose of the Role

The Consultant is responsible for providing advisory support and specialized innovation expertise. This role aims to enable business growth, enhance organizational innovation maturity, and support strategic decision-making. The position involves supporting the development, evaluation, and implementation of innovation initiatives, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders, and fostering a culture of innovation across the organization through structured methodologies, programs, and continuous improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide innovation advisory services to business units and stakeholders, identifying opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Support the development and execution of innovation strategies aligned with organizational objectives, contributing to the identification of priority innovation domains.
• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovation programs and initiatives, tracking KPIs, progress, impact, and ROI.
• Facilitate idea generation activities and innovation campaigns, manage idea repositories, and assist in evaluating and prioritizing ideas based on business value and feasibility.
• Conduct research and analysis to assess innovative concepts and solutions, supporting idea validation, proof-of-concept activities, and pilot initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities and support cross-functional teams in addressing business challenges through innovation methodologies.
• Contribute to the promotion of innovation awareness and best practices, supporting the delivery of workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Assist in defining and monitoring innovation performance indicators, analyzing data, and preparing management reports and presentations with insights and recommendations.
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and benchmarking related to innovation practices, monitoring emerging technologies and industry developments.
• Support the identification of innovations with potential intellectual property value and coordinate with stakeholders regarding patent registration.
• Comply with all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and information security practices.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Consultant position must possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience. This experience should demonstrate a strong background in innovation advisory, program management, strategic support, and the ability to facilitate innovation initiatives within an organizational context.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Consultant will work within a collaborative environment, engaging with various internal departments and external partners to drive innovation.
