The Security, Digital Core Practice
As a COOP Security Managed Services New Associate, you will join Accenture's Security, Digital Core practice. This team focuses on embedding security into the foundational technology environments of clients. With organizations across the region accelerating their digital transformation, the practice ensures that the platforms, applications, and cloud infrastructure supporting these changes are secure by design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of cloud security solutions in client environments, including platform hardening, configuration management, and security controls.
- Assist in integrating security into digital transformation programs, spanning application development pipelines and cloud migration workstreams.
- Contribute to the implementation of digital identity and data protection solutions.
- Work within blended onshore and offshore delivery teams, gaining exposure to global enterprise-scale security delivery.
- Help document and assess security configurations against established frameworks and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the last year of a bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Foundational understanding of cloud platforms, application security, or secure software development principles.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- A curious, analytical mindset with the ability to contribute to technical problem-solving discussions.
- Clear communication skills, comfortable working across technical teams and in client-facing environments.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts or secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
- Coursework or self-study in application security, cloud security, or identity management.
- Interest in pursuing industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or AZ-900.
