Credit Risk Analyst

About the Role

Hala is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for assessing creditworthiness and evaluating potential risks associated with financing applications and customer exposures. The role focuses on ensuring accurate risk analysis, adherence to credit policies, and informed financing decisions to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financing applications and assess customer creditworthiness based on financial information, credit history, and relevant risk indicators.
• Evaluate credit risk exposure and recommend appropriate financing decisions, credit limits, and terms in accordance with established credit policies.
• Review financial statements, transaction data, and other supporting documents to identify potential risks and assess repayment capacity.
• Monitor existing financing portfolios to identify changes in credit quality, emerging risk patterns, and potential signs of delinquency.
• Prepare credit assessment reports and provide data-driven recommendations to support financing approval decisions.
• Ensure credit assessments comply with internal policies, applicable regulatory requirements, and relevant KSA financing regulations.
• Collaborate with the Financing, Sales, and Operations teams to facilitate credit assessments and support timely financing decisions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit assessment procedures and risk evaluation methodologies to strengthen portfolio quality and minimize potential credit losses.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess creditworthiness.
• Knowledge of credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk indicators.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Credit Risk Analyst will work collaboratively with various internal teams, including Financing, Sales, and Operations, to ensure comprehensive credit assessments and support timely business decisions.
