Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for strengthening system defenses, detecting threats promptly, and responding effectively to security incidents. A key focus of this role is to continuously improve the overall security posture of the organization through proactive measures and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Harden systems against known vulnerabilities and potential exploits.
• Detect and respond to security threats in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant security monitoring coverage.
• Reduce the occurrence of critical incidents through effective remediation strategies.
• Improve the organizational security posture through continuous assessments and enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations.
• Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, endpoint security solutions, and incident response procedures.
• Knowledge of network security principles, Windows/Linux operating system security, and threat models.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
