Cybersecurity Manager

About the Role

Egis (KSA) is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This permanent position involves overseeing operational tasks related to account administration, eDiscovery, and incident response, while also implementing cybersecurity technologies for project information and process systems. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational tasks for account administration, eDiscovery, and incident response.
• Provide waiver/policy assistance and implement cybersecurity/protection technologies for project information and process systems/applications.
• Act as a primary contact with suppliers to develop technical solutions for computer security needs and provide recommendations to management.
• Develop, maintain, and audit the analytical and technical aspects of major computer security systems.
• Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computer workstations, servers, and local area networks by managing user accounts and upgrading systems and software.
• Ensure secure operations of security equipment, secure transmission of sensitive unclassified information, and protection of cryptographic principles and methods.
• Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities associated with potentially compromising corporate and client data.
• Provide technical support, training, and timely computer system data recovery to end-users.
• Oversee the investigation of computer security incidents and assist with cybersecurity initiatives.
• Conduct operations of computer protection measures and create measurement tools for system vulnerability assessments.
• Serve on project teams and internal committees to represent cybersecurity interests.
• Oversee the client/server/infrastructure group on appropriate procedures for computer/system security.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in account administration, eDiscovery, and incident response.
• Proven ability to implement and manage cybersecurity technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of computer security systems and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in threat mitigation and vulnerability assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with suppliers, management, and end-users.
• Ability to provide technical support and training effectively.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Egis (KSA).
