About the Role

Trivers is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Risk Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to our efforts in maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture, focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management.

Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Risk Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing the cybersecurity risk framework. This involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments, monitoring threat landscapes, and ensuring the effectiveness of security controls. The role requires a proactive approach to risk identification and the ability to develop strategic mitigation plans, contributing directly to the organization's security governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Analyze and evaluate cyber risks, determining their potential impact and likelihood.
  • Maintain and regularly update the cybersecurity risk register.
  • Monitor current risk exposure and emerging cyber threats to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and recommend risk treatment and mitigation strategies.
  • Track the progress of remediation plans and corrective actions.
  • Perform third-party cybersecurity risk assessments to ensure supply chain security.
  • Support compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop clear and concise cybersecurity risk reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
  • Escalate significant risks to management and governance committees as appropriate.
  • Provide cybersecurity risk advisory services to internal stakeholders.
  • Promote cybersecurity risk awareness across the organization through various initiatives.
  • Coordinate effectively with IT Security, Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams.
  • Support broader cybersecurity governance and risk management initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide insights into risk posture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity risk management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
