About the Role

Nestlé is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on optimizing product availability and supply chain efficiency across the Kingdom.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that products are available in the correct quantities, at the optimal time, and at the right cost to effectively meet customer demand and maximize profitability. This involves assuring that all branches and warehouses in KSA maintain the required stock levels with committed quality on a daily basis. The Demand & Supply Planner will achieve this through reviewing available stock, days of supply, and actual sales reports, in close coordination with the logistics department.

Key responsibilities also include creating production and dispatch plans with diligent follow-up to ensure stock covers target days of supply. Material planning to meet required production volumes based on forecasts, in cooperation with the procurement department and supplier communication, is also a core aspect of the role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop production plans based on available stocks, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
  • Execute material planning considering available material stock, demand, actual sales trends, and warehouse capacity, ensuring materials are within shelf-life expiry dates and maintaining optimum inventory levels and cost efficiency.
  • Manage supply and dispatch planning to ensure stock balancing and prevent bad goods.
  • Serve as a key liaison between commercial and technical teams regarding volume communications.

Demand Planning and Inventory Management

  • Collect and analyze regional forecasts, sales forecasts, warehouse available space, and production capacity.
  • Conduct detailed forecast analysis per SKU to enhance demand planning accuracy.
  • Update and monitor Demand & Supply Planning (DSP) KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all documentation for planning processes and systems is current and compliant with company standards.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify key drivers for sales of primary products and product groups.
  • Ensure proper production and material planning, maintaining optimum inventory levels for both finished goods and raw and packaging materials, mitigating risks of bad goods and out-of-stock situations.
  • Prepare statistical forecasts to support the sales forecasting process and improve overall demand planning accuracy.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related field.
