Depot Property Book Specialist

About the Role

GDC Middle East (الشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات) is seeking a Depot Property Book Specialist for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for managing property control to ensure continuous equipment accountability, adhering to regulations set by DoD, FMS Saudi Arabia, and GDCME. The specialist will administer property control program activities to maintain accountability for government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer supply chain management, including requisition and inventory of property book-type items.
• Maintain 100% accountability of all supplies, equipment, and organizational supply records.
• Sign for property records and conduct regularly scheduled and cyclic equipment inventories as directed.
• Coordinate equipment transfers, additions, deletions, and deliveries with customers.
• Maintain sub-hand receipt files for equipment issued to individuals in other departments within the Directorate.
• Manage ordering, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of major end items and consumables.
• Manage organizational forecast planning using inventory levels, lead time, and demand levels.
• Perform duties and responsibilities within broad guidelines, with significant choice of methods.
• Provide input to the Property Book Manager to assist with selecting and implementing goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining property accountability records.
• Ability to determine the condition of equipment and arrange for the disposal of surplus or obsolete items.
• Proficiency in posting documents and managing lateral transfers of GDCME/MNG equipment.
• Experience in conducting property audits and providing guidance on property accountability.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
