Design Manager

About the Role

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking a Design Manager Expert to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the context of substation and transmission line projects. The role focuses on managing design processes and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project management and supervision activities.
• Provide technical support for electrical substation and transmission line projects.
• Ensure project delivery meets quality standards and manage associated challenges, pressures, and risks.
• Maintain full knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and requirements.
• Apply expertise in technical specifications and electrical transmission codes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, supervision, and technical support.
• Demonstrated experience in the construction of electrical substations and transmission line projects.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
