About the Role

Fletcher Piccolo Associates is seeking a Design Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing all design activities for complex projects, including museums, exhibitions, theming, and high-end fit-outs. The Design Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure design coordination and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all design activities across museum, exhibition, theming, and high-end fit-out projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring architectural, technical, specialist, and subcontractor designs are fully coordinated.
• Manage design programs, approvals, and deliverables to ensure designs are issued on time and aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with clients, architects, consultants, BIM teams, and specialist subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues.
• Drive design development, buildability, and value engineering while maintaining the required quality and design intent.
• Identify and resolve design risks, clashes, and technical challenges throughout pre-construction and project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in design and BIM management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically on cultural or museum projects.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Lead on major fit-out projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• BIM/Digital Construction qualifications are preferred.
