Director Commercial & Partnerships Development (Healthcare Sector)

About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Director Commercial & Partnerships Development for the Healthcare Sector. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and reports to the Executive — Business Development. The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development and structuring of commercial and partnership arrangements that support QHC's business development priorities. The role is critical from day one to establish early market engagement, structured evaluation, and sufficient lead time for priority commercial and partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop partner requirements and shape partnership and commercial priorities aligned with QHC's clinical, operational, and growth objectives.
• Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of commercial and partnership opportunities across various sectors including sports, healthcare, payer, technology, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify and evaluate new commercial and partnership models, providing recommendations for leadership review.
• Lead partner identification, engagement, and sourcing, representing QHC to external partners and stakeholders.
• Originate and progress priority partnership opportunities, including engagement, evaluation, negotiation preparation, and follow-up through to agreement.
• Develop and structure commercial arrangements, models, and contracting requirements to ensure deals are commercially sound and operationally deliverable.
• Coordinate contracting, obligations, and commercial structuring in collaboration with legal, finance, and other relevant functions.
• Develop commercial terms and recommendations that protect QHC's interests and align with service and partnership requirements.
• Track partner obligations and deliverables to ensure commitments are met by all parties.
• Coordinate partner governance, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and escalation for active partnerships.
• Maintain the partner and contract register, and report on partnership performance.
• Develop and manage commercial and partnership relationships across the Qiddiya ecosystem and with external partners.
• Coordinate with QIC and ecosystem partners to leverage shared opportunities and avoid duplication.
• Act as a key relationship point for priority commercial and partnership stakeholders.
• Coordinate brand, awareness, and launch communications in partnership with marketing and communications, considering QHC's reputational exposure.
• Ensure partnership and commercial activity aligns with and supports QHC's brand and market positioning.
• Support go-to-market and launch milestones during the startup phase.
• Contribute to QHC's revenue growth, service monetization, and competitive positioning through partnerships and commercial arrangements.
• Provide commercial input to business cases, pricing, and new service-line development.
• Track and report commercial and partnership KPIs to leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and structuring commercial and partnership arrangements, particularly within the healthcare sector.
• Proven ability to lead partner engagement, sourcing, and deal origination.
• Experience in coordinating with legal, finance, and other functions for commercial structuring and contracting.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This role involves working closely with the leadership team, across the Qiddiya ecosystem, and with external stakeholders. The Director will be responsible for building a partnership pipeline, structuring commercial and contractual arrangements, governing partner obligations, and coordinating brand and launch activities to position QHC effectively in the market.
